Do I need to book an appointment?

Yes please! Although we are open Tuesday-Saturday, we offer our brides exclusive use of the boutique and we like to make sure that we are ready and able to accommodate you so booked appointments guarantee this/it is best to book in. Our evenings and Saturdays are the most popular times and (get booked up quickly) so if possible /try to /make your appointment in advance (if possible).  To find out more about your appointment, click here.

When do I need to order?

Lead times vary with different designers, but we usually recommend ordering a minimum of 6 months in advance. You may find the dress of your dreams 2 years before the wedding- in which case go for it!   If you find yourself with only a few months to plan your day  and need to find your dream dress  – don’t panic! Our designers can sometimes accommodate tighter deadlines where necessary.  We also carry a selection of ready to wear gowns that you can walk away with!

How long will my appointment last?

It’s my first appointment and I’m nervous… help!

Don’t panic! We are here to gently guide you through the different styles and find the perfect dress for you so there is no need to feel worried. Some brides have been dreaming about this moment for a long time, and arrive brimming with excitement, armed with a book full of magazine clippings. Some of us have palpitations at the thought of stepping one foot into a bridal boutique, are convinced that we will look horrendous in everything- we guarantee you, you won’t. This is your time to enjoy yourself so don’t take your first appointment too seriously (we don’t bite!) Try to come with an open mind and you’ll most likely find that you are pleasantly surprised by your experience, we hope you will actually enjoy it! I don’t want a typical wedding dress, can you make my dress unique?

You have come to the right place!  We are always brimming with ideas and have the expertise to make the dress your very own.   Adding straps, or sparkle? Shortening the gown, adding or taking off a belt? We can do all these adjustments and more, just tell us your ideas!

What sizes are your samples?

Our samples range from size 10 to size 22, Whilst most of our samples are around a size 12 or 14, we are able to give you a great idea of how the dress will look even if your number is a little higher or lower than this!

Do I need to bring anything?

If you already have some ideas of what you might like, then of course feel free to bring along some images/show us your Pinterest board!

Where possible bring a strapless bra and nude or ivory underwear- this gives the best look when trying on gowns. We do our best to keep our samples in the best possible condition, please be sparing with your fake tan.

We have shoes covered, of course if you already have your wedding shoes please bring these with you.

Styling appointments can be arranged at any time either when your gown arrives or with our in house sample, if available, giving you the opportunity to stylise jewellery, veils and any accessories with your gown.

Will my dress need alterations?

Our selection of dresses are made to order, not made to measure. When we measure you for your gown we will discuss the size you wish to order. Once your dress arrives your booking will be made with the seamstress approximately 2 months before your big day.   At this point you will discuss the alterations needed and costings.

How many people should I bring with me?

We have seating for up to three guests, and have found that bringing 1-3 people with you whose advice you value always makes for a constructive appointment. Too many opinions flying around can make you feel harassed and confused! You can always show your other friends, family or future in-laws once you have narrowed your choice. We are a very welcoming bunch though, so if you have any special requests then just drop us an email and we will do our best to accommodate.

What are your prices?

Our collection ranges from £600.00 to £1900.00, but we are guided by you –  we do not want to spoil your day with over budget gowns. As with all bridal shops we have to move our samples on to make way for new gowns and there are always gowns available to buy at fantastic prices.
